Welcome to BackToCode. These terms explain the rules for using our website and hiring us for custom software development.

1. Who is Who
When we say "Client", "You", or "Your", we mean you—the person using our website or hiring us. When we say "We", "Us", or "Our", we mean BackToCode.
2. Code & Design Ownership
We own the designs, text, and images on this website. You may not copy or reuse them without our explicit written permission.
For custom software projects that we build for your business, you receive 100% full ownership of the source code, design assets, and database architecture as soon as final payment is completed.
3. Prohibited Actions
When using our website or digital platforms, you must not:
- Copy our website content or redistribute it under another brand name.
- Use our forms or communication channels to send unauthorized spam or malicious content.
- Attempt to breach, reverse engineer, or hack into our servers or client databases.
- Sell or rent any proprietary design assets or custom software code from our portfolio.
- Copy our project demonstrations or code templates to resell them.
4. Project Milestone & Payment Terms
When you engage BackToCode for engineering services:
- We execute a mutual Statement of Work (SOW) detailing project deliverables, milestone costs, and launch timelines.
- Initial deposit payments required to commence sprint work are non-refundable once development has started.
- Final source code deployment to your production cloud servers occurs upon receipt of final milestone approval.
5. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
We construct software following high-level industry security standards. However, BackToCode is not liable for indirect business loss, unexpected third-party server outages, or database disruptions beyond our direct infrastructure management scope, unless covered by a dedicated retainer SLA contract.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Maharashtra, India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, India.
7. Updates to Terms
We reserve the right to revise these terms as necessary. Continued use of our services following updates constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
